We start off our writing with research week, using Google Scholar we’re able to search refined studies and information about anything we’re seeking for our stories. Through a lot of refining and searching we then find what we consider to be a reputable source - reputable sources can be defined as anything with concrete provable data. This in turn solidifies or modifies our angle and we are able to tackle sources.

Sources are found a lot of the time by using word of mouth, talking to the people we know to tell us about who they know - this often proves for reliable results that shine through during the interview process. Examples of this can be found in my writings such as The Nicotine Resurgence, Surviving the System, or The Longest Government Shutdown in US History. A lot of background goes into finding our sources and information.

We relay statistics, or for school based stories, put out polls to the general population of Southeast. These polls are then sent out, and we receive responses that we can typically pull into a later interview.
